Our Lady’s Nursery Ballymun Ltd (trading as Our Nursery) has been serving the children and families of Ballymun since 1974 with a focus on prevention and early intervention to improve outcomes for children and their families. Currently catering for 112 children over several sessions we are a community based, state subsidised early childhood education facility with charitable status. Our Nursery participates in the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) and Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) scheme. providing full-time, part-time and sessional care. We also have an afterschool service.  We are situated at 121 Sillogue Gardens, Ballymun Dublin 11. The nursery is a purpose-built childcare facility and caters for children from 6 months to 7 years. We open at 8.30am till 5pm, Monday to Friday. Our Nursery implements the HighScope curriculum.

Our Nursery works in partnership with YoungBallymun, providing Family Focused Play Therapy and Focussed Observations on individual children. Circle of Security Parenting program is provided for our parents, facilitated by one of our dedicated staff members. 

We have a holistic approach, involving all areas of the child’s development, and provide a safe secure, loving environment with a home from home atmosphere where confidence, independence and self-esteem is nurtured. Each individual child is helped to reach their full potential and is encouraged and supported to develop at their own pace. Our Nursery recognises early childhood as a critical time in a person’s life with enormous impacts on children’s future.
