My name is Jacqui Oludayo. I am practitioner here in Our Nursery the past 21 years. Six years ago I trained as a Circle of Security facilitator, allowing me to deliver this programme to the caregivers within the Nursery.
What is the Circle of Security (COS)?
At times all parents and caregivers feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. The circle of security parenting programme is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. The Circle of Security allows us as caregivers to connect with the children in our lives. It helps us reflect upon our children’s needs in order to promote a secure connection with our children.
